There are lots of places in the Frontier odb where paths are referenced, for example "Macintosh HD:Applications:etc". When the Frontier application folder or its databases are moved to any new location, all these references break, so putting the application in a new directory (such as "Macintosh HD:Applications (Mac OS 9):etc" can mess things up.

I've seen several posts about this...this one [1] may be a good place to start.

I don't know about the second problem, but it may well be related.
