Well, I made some progress. I found that wlHostingSuite.filters.firstFilter() is being called from within #filters.firstFilter and wlHostingSuite.filters.lastFilter() is being called from within #filters.lastFilter. (I love that Frontier and Radio are so easy to hack--it's fun and horribly dangerous!)

I disabled those calls (like I said: dangerous), but now it's stuck because mainResponder.respond doesn't recognize "password". I get the impression that weblogger.com has hacked the Manila code and hence made sites created there non-portable. (Again: dangerous.) DO you think that's the case?
