Oh, another reason I know it's not a matter of stripped passwords: When I attempt to login using anything other than the Managing Editor's ID, I get 'Can't login "" because "" is not a member.' The more serious error ("Can't evaluate the expression because the name "password" hasn't been defined") occurs only when I enter the proper email/password for the ME.
