Does anyone know how to call a QuicKeys X 1.0 shortcut from a Frontier 7.0.1 (Mac OS X version) script in Mac OS X 10.1, without resorting to using AppleScript language?

I have tried using,

appleEvent ("QuicKeys", 'Qkys', 'qkPS', '----', 'null', 'plSH', "QuicKey shortcut name")

This runs without error and returns true, but does not actually run the named QuicKeys X shortcut.

Any suggestions appreciated.
