Some Manila wishlist items:

The Description Element of News Items currently doesn't get HTML neutered when it is sent as e-mail. That would be really nice to have. The ability to edit a template for these e-mails would be great too.

The HTML generated by the IE editing box uses UPPER CASE tags. Are lower case ones possible?

News items are shown on the home page based on a defined number. Is it possible to get X number of days of news items instead?

A more general item that doesn't fall under the category of a quick fix is the ability to go directly to administrative functions from the context in which they're required. By this I mean that it would be nice, for example, to be able to delete a message/story/picture while looking at it, or manage a member from their membership screen.
