Do you have a macro that call the script in question or is the script the macro. Are you sure that the page is really getting reloaded and that you are not seeing the result from a cache? (does the hit counter increment?) You might also add a line in the macro like

temp.iDidIt = "Hey I got this far..."

or something that would let you know that your macro is getting called. Try changing the text of the message where the macro is and see if that change is reflected in the resulting page. Did you legal...

So many things to keep track of...
