It sounds like mainResponder is not getting everything it needs from IIS.

Your problem may be related to a setting in IIS as described in How to Serve .wsf Pages from IIS in the Change notes for version 1.0b3 regarding Frontier getting authorization headers.

Try making the changes to IIS as described there.

Has anybody else seen this behavior with IIS and manila? Seems like there are a lot of (maybe just a few key) settings in IIS that can make / break a Frontier behind IIS host.
