I don't know anything about "Blackberry," but I've created a
Manila plugin called Vacuum for "sucking in" email from a POP3
server into a Manila DG. It uses string & regex filters against
any message field to determine whether to post a given email to
the DG, and reflects email message threads into DG message
threads (using the message ID and references message fields).

I called it Vacuum because I intended it to "suck in" not only
email, but news (NNTP) messages, and possibly other sources,
as well.

It works fabulously as a way to automatically archive mailing
lists into Manila websites, and it uses the standard Manila
hooks to add messages, so if you have searching turned on in
your site, it should instantly give you full-text searches
of a mailing list (I haven't tested this, though).

It's not quite ready for prime-time, and I've started to fear
that it never will be, because I've had no time to work on
things Frontier for several months. If someone would like to
take over development of it, I'd gladly hand it over. In the
past few days, I've started bringing my Frontier installation
back to life (new machine, with all the attendant problems)
so I can go in and review the plugin's status in anticipation
of trying to find someone to take it over.

I'll try to post a copy to 3rd Party Plugins
(http://3pp.launchpoint.net) in the next few days.
If you absolutely, positively must get it sooner,
please EMAIL ME DIRECTLY, NOT THE LIST! (And note
that I won't be able to hold your hand; you MUST
be familiar with Manila plugin installation already.
