Enhancing the {navigatorLinks}

I have been trying to make the feedback of the navigatorlinks macro look
better by using the javascript onmouseover and onmouseout as it can be used
in the homepagelink macro.

The problem is that the navigatorlinks macro does some extensive things for
pictures but nothing for styles. Most people solve this problem by using the
stylesheet, but that will not work on Netscape and will not do background
changes (which works pretty cool).

I would like to solve this problem in Frontier by changing the drawNavigator
macro but am afraid that by the next release it will be changed back again.
