where does the log live?

When I update frontier.root, a log displays that shows what got updated...
i just ran update->frontier.root, and, sure enough the log displayed.. but
I didn't get a good look at it AND there was an error message telling me
that some aspect of the root (the blogger stuff I think) couldn't/didn't
get updated.

Now, when I try to upgrade, the servers tells me I'm already updated to
the latest version, and when i go looking for that log to see if it tells
me what's missing, I can't find it... I'd really like to have the WHOLE
tamale with regards to the frontier.root file.. blogger stuff and all...
can anyone help me out here?
