I too have been looking at calendars.
One of the features that seems to be missing from all of them, including the
PHP events calendar this example is based on, is events greater than a days
length. I've started a PHP project at Sourgeforge to try and develop
something to handle the kind of recurring events you can visualise with
Outlook or Organiser.

It should be pointed out that Conversant already has event calendars.
