{BUG} Editing string values has no effect

If the value of a string (in some table) is the same as its name, then any
new value entered via the GUI will not be accepted.

You can edit it to your hearts content, but typing enter or clicking in
another object in the table causes the value to revert to its original
unedited value.

It seems that you can only get into this situation if the string object was
created by a script, because...

Likewise, if you create a new object at, say, scratchpad.xxx, by typing
return and typing 'xxx', and typing tab and typing 'xxx' and then typing
enter, the new object has a value of (nil) and a kind of (none).

Also, whether the name is "equal to" the value is not case-sensitive.

Cheers,
