manila unstable on XP?

Hi All.

I downloaded and installed frontier 9 on my Win XP pro box.  I have set up several weblogs (a blogging community) but am finding that the server seems go down quite frequently - particularly when users are submitting their weblog posts.

Are there issues with XP?  Are there some scripts or tools that I can use to enhance stability?  At this point I have turned off most background apps.  

Interestingly, Radio is very stable - and has not gone done at all in the same time that Frontier has crashed several times.
