Can't create a new site

[Using Mac OS X/Frontier 9/Manila]

Any idea why I would be getting this on the 'home page' of my default
'createASite' site?

[Macro error: Can't display the create site form because this isn't a Manila
hosting site.]

In the new admin website, createASite is indeed listed and enabled. So, it
sure SEEMS like a Manila hosting site.

Also...I've looked around at all the settings I can find. Nothing seems to
help. I even tried to get to the new site form through the
/controlPanel/newSite, but I get this:

Sorry! There was an error: Can't get the name of this site because there is
no address in config.manila.sites pointing to this Manila site.

Config.manila.sites is less-than-clear, so I'm at a loss.

BTW, I have no idea what I may have done to create this situation.
