I have the same issue.  Though it was long ago (using 5.0.1) I found 
the solutions to be too much of a kludge using only Frontier.  What I 
do now (and have been doing for many years) is to render everything 
locally on my hard drive and then upload the site to the various 
servers that need it (extranet, intranet, etc...).  I use Fetch 
(http://fetchsoftworks.com/) to upload my pages to the appropriate 
server.  Fetch has a 'mirror' capability that only uploads the 
changed files.  Very handy.
