More info...
When I checked the #356 table in
#newsSite.radioHosting.comments.users.erickeck.356 I noticed that the
link was missing. msgnum was correct at 359. I filled in the correct
link and saved the database, but still no difference on the site itself.
Still have Comments [0]
Thanks,
Ryan

I have a specific set of comments that aren't showing up on the homepage
and I'm wondering if this can be diagnosed. If you go here:
http://eric.alleloneagle.net/discuss/msgReader$359?mode=topic
<http://eric.alleloneagle.net/discuss/msgReader$359?mode=topic&y=2003&m=
10&d=8> &y=2003&m=10&d=8
You will see a whole set of comments that aren't showing up on the
homepage. These are supposed to be in response to post 356 which is
titled 10.06.03 on the front page of the blog or can be found
permalinked here:
http://eric.alleloneagle.net/2003/10/06#a356
Any ideas why these comments are showing up? This seems to be the only
site that is having this problem on the server at this point.
Thanks,
Ryan

Subject: Comments Outage
Hello everyone -
A few weeks back, I reported problems with the comments on my server.
Some of the sites seemed to be working with comments while others did
not.
The experience is that someone enters a comment on a blog site, but it
sucks it into the discussion group without posting it to the comments
section or the comment count on the home page under the blog entry.
Now it seems to be sporadic based on the entry without any rhyme or
reason for it. If you go to this site: http://eric.alleloneagle.net,
you will see a couple of posts near the top where he notes that comments
are not working. By trying to post a comment, you will see what is
happening (as I describe above). Can someone help me with this?
Thanks,
Ryan
