Mail-to-weblog questions

Greetings all,
I have just started to play with the mail-to-weblog feature, which I'm
sure I'm going to love once I get it working properly.
I have set up a couple of Manila sites for members of academic mailing
lists that I administer on a LetterRip Pro server. I want to use the
feature to create continuously updating, automatic, searchable archives
of mailing list posts.
I have added all subscribers to the sites as contributing editors and
made the sites private.
I have subscribed to the mailing lists using my secondary university
email address, and set the verification to use the secret subject
setting, using the subject line prefixes for the respective lists as
secret subjects.
At this point, without pointing Manila to the special pop account email
address in the authorized senders section of the Mail-to-Weblog
preferences, the mailing list posts are not, apparently, being
uploaded. But if the only authorized sender is me, at my secondary
address, then presumably other list members' posts would be ignored.
Anyone experienced similar issues? Perhaps I'll simply need to copy and
paste the email addresses of all list members in the authorized senders
text box....
Suggestions welcome, and thanks in advance,
Hugh
