New Message: why am i getting email messages from this group?

I've just noticed that I'm getting individual email messages from this discussion group. I don't know how long this has been going on; the reason I just noticed is that they've been going into my spam mailbox. How do I control this? I used to get digests, but they seem to have stopped coming (why is that?), and now I don't see any mechanism for determining whether I should get email messages or whether they should be digests.
