New Message: Re: Can't post new news items - error message

I'll provide a more complete and sequential description of what happens here.

* On any of several sites running on my installation of Frontier 9.1.b4 running on OS X, I click the *News* link in the
***Editors Only
 menu.
* On the
***Pending News Items
 page I click
***Create a News Item.
* On the
***Create News Item
page I create a new News Item, including a Title and Text, then click the ***Create News Item
button.
* Rather than seeing the preview of the newly-created News Item I see an error message:Sorry! There was an error: Can’t evaluate the expression because the name “msgNum” hasn’t been defined.

The error was detected by Frontier 9.1b4 in mainResponder.respond. Webmaster: dan at planetmitchell.com. Time: Fri, 15 Apr 2005 15:34:15 GMT.
* I hit the back button in my browser to return to the ***
Create News Item
page.
* I click on *News* in the
***Editors Only
menu.
* I /do/ see the newly-created News Item listed on the
***Pending News Items
page.
* I click on the newly-created News Item to display it on the *Edit News Item* page.
* I click the
***Post to Home Page
button on the
***Edit News Item
page and the news item is successfully posted.

The problem does not seem to be with accepting the input of a new News Item, but rather with the display of the newly-created message after clicking
***Create News Item
on the *Create News Item* page.
