I haven't changed anything on the server that would be associated with the timing of this problem - not even an OS X system update.

It does seem that automatic updating may not be occurring. The day /after/ I first notice the problem I did a manual update of Frontier and other roots from within Frontier - as opposed to using the web interface or relying on automatic updates - and it downloaded quite a bit of stuff.

Also, is it relevant that I downgraded to the previous beta 9.1 after encountering the problem with the official current version -- where Frontier was crashing as often as once or more per day.
