On a Macintosh, when I added a bunch of sites from one manilawebsites database to another, I just renamed the source database to manilawebsitesSource.root, then had both databases open, and copied all the ones I wanted, and pasted them into the unified database. ... Then, using the "server" choices in the menu bar, I checked that they were installed with the correct URL's.
