On the issue you raise about the customer list - yes, its our chance to show off our customers. Additionally, I've always felt that promoting our customers was an important part our job. If you want me to remove your company from the list, I will, of course, do so. However, if you want to send me a link or let me know its OK, I will be happy to link to GCSF as well from the customer page.
As a team we are doing our best with the resources we have available. I have not had a chance to study the thread on email handling, but it seems like there were quite a few responses. As always, if you run into difficulty and don't get a response within your required timeframe or get a response that you feel is incomplete, please call me or send me an email (scott at userland.com) Please don't let it just hang. My direct line is 650-917-3835. We will do our best to get you an answer.
As for the ping issue, I don't know but will ping Lawrence. Also, I would definitely contact Patrick Richie with the specifics of what you are looking for - I use the MasterPing tool (referenced in the post) with Radio, but I am not aware of any logging or reporting capabilities. We could definitely consider asking Patrick to see what he can do with Manila. Seems like a good feature idea.
