If the site still serves *files* via filer, it may be a date format problem. To wit: Frontier's /date()/ verb only understands a single short-date format--that defined in the control panel.
In particular, /date()/only recognizes ISO-standard date format (YYYY-MM-DD) if you've set the abbreviated date to that format in the control panel. But Filer's version release date is stored as an ISO-format string.
Take a look at filerSuite.VersionDate. Is it in the same format as your system's abbreviated date format (from the control panel or wherever)?
If not, execute this script in the Quick Script window:<tt>
date(filerSuite.VersionDate)
</tt>
If this still gives the error, change filerSuite.VersionDate to the format specified in your system and try it again.
If it then works okay, try getting an .../icon/... from Filer again.
