No. I create and/or edit a NEWS ITEM. The ENCLOSURE field is available. I copy the URL link to the audio file, complete the other item fields as shown:

I post the item. The enclosure link does not appear as part of the news item, although all the other info (title, URL, description) from the post does appear correctly, as shown:
