rss entity problem

The IE built-in xml parser fails to accept the rss file generated by my
Manila site, returning the error "'egrave' entity not defined." (the rss
file is at http://roncaglia.homeip.net/merzlog/xml/rss.xml). Since I
write in Italian, I need this kind of entities. Is there a way to
declare them so that the rss file works properly? The xml file in
ScriptingNews2 format works well
(http://roncaglia.homeip.net/merzlog/xml/scriptingnews2.xml), but I
would like to have also the plain rss file.
