Error: Can't evaluate the expression

I am being prevented from using my Manila sites by;

on all my sites.
I was enabling Indexing and searching in the "esotericSettings" and
"MetaData" plug-ins when it happened.

If I go to mainResponder.respond ->Run  I get an error "!redirect
http://192.168.0.1/public/login?http://192.168.0.1/resources/icons/folde
r"

I can get to the Control Panel, and everything works there, including
"list sites", and "new site".
Any new site inherits the same problem

A possible conflict with MetaData looked promising but did not work for
me

As anyone got any hunches as to where I can look next?
