Don,
As far as accessibility issues go Mark Pilgrim of Dive Into Mark,
http://diveintomark.org/,  has been spending his last month of weblogging
creating a set of posts called "30 days to a more accessible weblog".  You
might want to check out what he has posted.  It looks like he has done some
good stuff there.  As of today he is on Day 25.
