In the Prefs->News Items preferences page, check that in the News Item
template that the {picture} macro is included.
You can see a demo of how department pictures are used on this site:

Subject: Pictures and Departments
I associated a picture with one of my departments. There was no apparent
difference in postings of news items from the department so I figured it was
just in use.
Then I added my site to the SharpReader aggregator. The picture appears not
only at the top page of news items from that category, but on the top of all
news items.
What is supposed to happen?
Is there a way to unassociate a picture with a department? Is there a way to
see what picture is associated with a given apartment?
Thank you,
Tracy
