Using WYSIWYG to align pictures

Question for those in the know:

How do I align left or align right and have the text to the side?  And, 
can I have both a left and a right aligned picture, and have the copy be 
in the middle of them?  Any and all help greatly appreciated. I'm trying 
to prepare a year-end post for the blog!

Now that I am using Firefox, and switched over to editing/composing a la 
WYSIWYG, I have troubles with pictures.
