Ok, I'm getting really frustrated.

Authenticated SMTP is not only not new, it's pretty much the only game in town yet Frontier STILL doesn't support it.

I'd use Baylys sendmail, but Andres crypto.dll is now MIA.

I'd appreciate any one of three solutions:

1) step into the 21st century and add support for smtp_auth straight in Frontier - no add-ons. I think at this stage of the game it is a totally reasonable requiest.
2) find crypto.dll and ask permission to host it somewhere stable under the userland.com domain.
3) write a bridge routine to OS Xs underlying unix tools so that at least half of the Frontier people can do this.
