I thought about that, but the real problem seems to be that every few days, I get an error where Frontier can't open the file or find the file. Everything else in the system is working fine, but because I don't use these, I figured I'd turn it off.

I did turn off the hourly reopen, which I suspect may be part of the problem.

On that topic, does the hourly reopen flush excess cruft? Should I be doing that with my other active root files?
