New Message: Homepages of one not showing in list

When I want to get links to all the homepages of one year I call them with the URL of the form mysite/2002

This works on one site with every year but 2001. When I call this I get the error message:
Sorry! There was an error: Can't evaluate the expression because the name "msgNum" hasn't been defined.

I had a look at my hierarchie to be shure not to use "2001" as a category or a story.

Any ideas?
