New Message: Crashing after upgrade from version 7 to 9

We have upgraded a Mac OS 9 Frontier server from version 7 to version 9, configured to run behind WebSTAR 4. The server was rock solid before but now we are experiencing a lot of crashing and instability. Frontier will crash with a memory error or a type 2 error and then will attempt to relaunch when WebStar calls it again. Eventually the whole OS locks up or becomes unresponsive.

Initially I suspected a memory leak but after turning on logging of memavail for several days this doesn't seem to be the case.

I'm looking for a possible fix or advice on how to go about finding the source of the problem. Thanks.
