Hi Geoff,

If you're running in OS 9 behind WebStar, I'd recommend that you revert to the version 7 Frontier application, especially since you're not using Manila at all.

We've had other reports of problems with AppleEvents on OS 9, and this is an area of the kernel that we've been looking at. However at this time we can't guarantee when this will be addressed in a future version.

Since you're not using Manila on this server, and almost all of the new functionality between version 7 and version 9 was implemented in scripts, rather than in the kernel itself, you shouldn't notice any problems.

Your databases should also still work as expected in version 7, despite having installed the updates.
