New Message: Restrict comments to members only?

Hi Nathan -
I know exactly what you are getting at and would love this type of feature.
The only way that I know to accomplish this is to use the discussion group
instead of the commenting feature and force users to log in and comment that
way. This is a feature that would help immensely, I think, with comment spam
and could be controlled at the site level or server level.
