The steps for migratin manila sites from PC to Mac (under special consideration of downloaded editthispage.root)

1. Copy site table from PC root into new database and save on Mac into Guest Databases>www

2. Run #install from this root on the Mac

3. Restart frontier

4. Change URL in Browser Admin Home (127.0.0.1:5336)

5. Insert staticSite into #newsSite

6. Correct paths to membership.root and discuss.root

7. Install manilaSiteRestore from bayly.root

8. Enable Backup in admin page

9. Backup now

10.In Browser: Manage Site
status disable and int the following dialog delete site
confirm

11. Check if site is totally removed from all the roots

12. Restart frontier

13. Browser Admin: Settings>add-ins>manilaSiteRestore

14. Select site
mark all two select boxes and chose root name
it seems to be advisable to use a root for every site and not to ad every site to manilaWebsites as is recommended by userland

run and wait (long)

15. Success when browser shows the Manage Site of the new site

16. If pictures are to be rendered static
- configure the static rendering folder which has to be created manually before
- in my case the path was Macintosh HD:Applications:Frontier:Guest Databases:www:manila:siteName
- Manila Fixer (from bayly.root as well)>static Pictures>yes+dump

This is a Manila site... http://manila.userland.com/.
