Static rendering and auxiliary templates

Dear Userland,

I've run into a problem with a site that uses auxiliary templates.

When I enable static rendering and render the site, all pages seem to 
have been rendered per recipe of main template.

The pages do render properly dynamically (by Frontier) so at least 
that pipeline is properly setup.

Is this a known problem?
Is there a easy way around it?
