New Message: "checkedOutDate" is undefined - tip

For a few weeks, I haven't been able to get to one site's admin page (sitename.com/admin) because I got the above error message. After a few hours of searching today, I found the answer:

Every Manila site's "#discussionGroup" table has a subtable named "checkouts", listing where messages were checked out for editing, etc. (It may also have something to do with versioning.) Every item in "[siteTable].#discussionGroup.checkouts" must have a valid "checkedOutDate" item or you can't display your admin page.

I found one that, for whatever reason, was missing that entry. I deleted the entire subtable with that number (it was for a very old message) and bingo-bango, now my admin page is back.

None of the custody code is tolerant at all of any of the custody values being missing, but finding them was the bear.
