New Message: Find and Replace Error

I am having trouble doing a find and replace to any Manila root database on our Windows box. I get the error:

Can't do replacement because the target window is not in edit mode.

Is there anything I can do to get it in "edit mode?" I know I can add to databases as I created a site and that works fine.

Any suggestions or clarifications to help? Thanks!
