I was optimistic earlier this year after Dave's post (http://www.scripting.com/stories/2007/03/12/anUntoldStoryOfUserland.html), but nothing seems to be happening, other than Lawrence's incredible one-man act.

It's a shame, because there's still a great niche for Manila in the corporate intranet environment. Manila is much cheaper than the enterprise license for MoveableType, and Wordpress + MySQL + PHP is not an option in many corporate intranets (due to the lag in adopting open-source).
