I think I posted this some months ago, but gave up on the upgrade at that time. I decided to give it another try today and encountered the same problem that stymied me before. (I think Lawrence may have provided a solution, but I have misplaced the description.) Here's the situation:

I am running Frontier 9.1b4 on my Mac OS X 10.3.9 server. I want to upgrade to the current 9.6 version so I downloaded the upgrader package. (Oddly, with a file name suggesting 9.5?)

I followed the directions for the upgrade, after first making very careful backups of everything. I replaced the old Frontier application with the version in the upgrade package. I launched the new version by double clicking Frontier.

Now that Frontier was running I double-clicked the upgrader Upgrade Frontier.ftds icon and watched the upgrade process begin as expected. Before long I got an error reporting that the Radio Community Server stuff couldn't be found, and the upgrade aborted.

I restored everything as it was from my backups and now have 9.1b4 working as it did before, but I'm still stuck at 9.1b4 until I can find out how to resolve this.

Thanks,

Dan
