use the Manila macro   {pictureRef ("nameofpicture",align:"left")}

for more info on the pictureRef macro, see
http://macros.userland.com/basic/pictureRef

You can also switch into html view and just code it using <img> tag, see
http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_IMG.asp for more information.
