It depends on how many sites are in the root. How big each will grow.

Too many messages in one site means slower saves.

It's not really about the size of the root in MB. Tho 2Gb is the limit. It's how many messages are in a site and how many there will be over time. Eventually, one has to move expanding sites out in to their own root, all by themselves.

Go here:
config.manila.hosting.sites
change existingGdbName to whatever.root
It'll make a new root for you.
