Subscribing to a manila story as opml

When I subscribe to a manila (v8.0.5 with latest updates) story by
appending .opml to the url as Dave suggests, I get an "Anonymous" entry
added to my Instant outline(i.e. it doesn't recognize the author etc).
double-clicking on the entry opens the browser rather than expanding the
outline in place as expected.
If I save the outline to disk and subscribe to it rendered from my
localhost web server, it works as expected. I have accessed the "Debug"
and "Get Info" properties and even tried overwriting the info with the
author etc but the heading stubbornly refuses to expand in place.
I am sure I must be missing something fundamental - any pointers would
be much appreciated.
BTW - the Instant Outliner feature is fantastic and its potential to
change the way we communicate, share/access info over the internet very
real. Thank you once again Userland!
