I've tried both of your methods in my script...they work sort of.

I can do a dialog.alert(msgAckListAdr^) in the script and see the contents in a dialog box. The very next command (msgAckList = msgAckListAdr^) in the script gives me the following error [Macro error: Can't compile this script because of a syntax error.]

I wonder if this has something to do with the fact that I'm calling this macro from a manila web page? But then why would the dialog.alert work but the set variable command not.
