I'm running into problems with a script that deletes a file from a remote BSD system via ftp.

apparently all the cool ftpd command like 'prompt' and 'mdelete' do not work with this verb. Apparently the verb transposes the command to uppercase, which is not recognized.

Is there a way to ensure the commands are sent as lowercase?
