I'm not sure I understand what it is you are talking about.

If you create a page in Manila you type the title into a box above the body text.

If you create a textobject directly in the site table in Frontier and put a "#title" directive into it, that title will go into the page at the same place as the title from the Manila box. At least that's the way it works for me.

Could you be talking about the sitename? (Most Manila site templates have a {homepagelink(sitename)} macro somewhere near the top of the page.
