Frontier Vs NT Filesystem

Is there any known problem with file.newFolder? I have had a thorough scour
of userland using terms such as 'access', 'permission', 'locked' etc.
I have had intermittent (i.e. non-deterministic) occurences of Frontier
created folders being inaccessible. Even the adminsistrator account is
unable to view contents or file permissions for the folder. The only
resolution is a reboot of the machine and, presto, the folder is gone. This
explains why the filesystem may be reporting access problems I guess - the
fact that the folder isn't actually there!

The script part that attempts the folder creation is no more than:
if ! file.exists(folderPath) {
	file.newFolder(folderPath)}

Has anyone had similar experiences or know of causes?

We are running Frontier 7.0 on NT4 - have had the same situation occur using
Frontier 6.x

Thanks,
Paul
