Moving sites to new hardware

Sorry, I mis-wrote. The search-and-replace was on
the file paths.

You could write a script that walks the DBs looking
and does replaces all instances of the old path,
but skips binary objects (and logs all the skips,
so you can try to figure out how to deal with them).

That should be 'file paths', not 'URLs'.
