Change formatting of edit forms?

Scott ,

Yes to the second question; I need to add attributes to existing fields.
Hacking Userland's code is not a good idea I agree, and not possible anyway,
as I will not be hosting the sites on my own Manila server (there is zero
chance of someone else using my hacked code on their server).
